About the Firm

Kramon & Graham, P.A. was founded in 1975 by two former Assistant United States Attorneys to handle complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal matters. The Firm has grown significantly, and its practice has expanded to include corporate, commercial real estate, employment, insurance, personal injury, government contracts and procurement, trademark and copyright, taxation, health care, and estate and trust matters.

The Firm's objective in each matter undertaken is to achieve the result desired by the client as promptly and efficiently as possible. We recognize that two components of any result are the time and expense necessary to achieve it. Accordingly, we discuss with each client, at the outset of the undertaking, the time and cost parameters within which the client wishes to address the matter.

All of the principals responsible for litigation are experienced trial lawyers. Three are former Assistant United States Attorneys and four are former Assistant Attorneys General. We prepare each case with the expectation that it will be tried. We recognize, however, the benefits of negotiated solutions. The Firm's approach to litigation is perhaps best reflected by the fact that one of the Firm's founders, Andrew Jay Graham, is both a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a founding member of Maryland ADR Services, Inc., a non-profit forum for alternative dispute resolution.

The Firm litigates commercial, insurance, torts and white collar criminal matters. We have considerable experience in antitrust, banking, construction, employment, environmental, government procurement, insurance coverage, motor vehicle, personal injury, product liability, professional malpractice, securities, shareholder, tax, and toxic tort litigation.

In business matters, the Firm represents a substantial number of developers and entrepreneurs in connection with real estate transactions, large-scale development projects, land use issues, financing, environmental issues, leasing, and real estate and related entity dispute litigation. The Firm also represents hospitals, health maintenance organizations, independent practice associations, nursing homes, physicians, dentists, podiatrists, and other health care providers.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality legal work available in the areas in which we practice.
