George E. Brown
Mr. Brown litigates commercial and business disputes, where he regularly represents clients in a variety of matters, including complex construction litigation, employment law, trade secrets and employment agreements, and contract and real estate disputes. He tries cases in both federal and Maryland state courts, and in arbitration, including cases before the American Arbitration Association and Construction Arbitration Services, Inc.
Mr. Brown joined the Firm in 2000, after completion of a judicial clerkship for the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. In law school, Mr. Brown was an Associate Editor of The Law Forum and authored The First Amendment Does Not Act as an Absolute Bar to a Finding of Liability in a Civil Aiding and Abetting Cause of Action, 28.2 U.Balt. L.F.J. 35 (1998).
In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Brown is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Breast Cancer Foundation--a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide a fighting chance to every life threatened by breast cancer through screening assistance programs, research, and support for breast cancer patients and their families.
Mr. Brown served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1982 until 1989.
