Katrina J. Dennis

Ms. Dennis is an associate in the Firm's Litigation Department. She handles all aspects of civil defense litigation, primarily focusing in the areas of legal malpractice, medical malpractice, commercial and employment litigation. Ms. Dennis has trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts in Maryland, the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania. She has successfully tried numerous bench trials and several jury trials to verdict. Ms. Dennis has also represented clients in critical aspects of discovery, motions practice and expert depositions in matters involving contract disputes, gender and disability discrimination, trade secret misappropriation, birth injury, failure to diagnose and personal injury.

Ms. Dennis serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Special Olympics Maryland, and she is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. Dennis also serves as a Campaign Advocate for the Maryland Food Bank's Lawyers' Against Hunger Campaign.

Ms. Dennis graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she was on the staff of the Intellectual Property Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. After graduating from law school, Ms. Dennis served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Evelyn Omega Cannon of the Circuit Court of Maryland for Baltimore City. Ms. Dennis is admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Ms. Dennis is an active member in the Defense Research Institute, National Association of Women Lawyers, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of Baltimore City and National Bar Association.
