Steven M. Klepper
Mr. Klepper is a principal of the firm. His practice focuses on insurance coverage and appellate advocacy.
Mr. Klepper practices before state and federal courts in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and he has appeared in courts throughout the country on a pro hac vice basis. He regularly represents insurers before the Maryland Insurance Administration in civil actions under the Maryland "good faith" statute. From 2004 to 2008, he served on the editorial board of the CGL Reporter. He has published articles and spoken at conferences on issues including choice-of-law for insurance policies and coverage for class actions.
Mr. Klepper serves on the executive committee of the Contemporary Museum. He serves on the board of directors of the Alumnae and Alumni of Goucher College, which in 2007 awarded him the Jennifer Mitchell Reed '86 Award for distinguished service. He teaches a course on the history of the United States Supreme Court at Goucher College. He authored "Hell, Incorporated," a play produced in July of 2003 as a part of the Baltimore Playwrights Festival.
