The Firm represents a number of regional and local businesses and entrepreneurs in all matters relating to corporate law and business transactions. The Firm's clients include professional practices such as architectural firms, law firms, medical practices, and real estate services, internet services firms, wholesale distributors, manufacturers and retailers.

Jeffrey H. Scherr and Marilyn Hope Fisher are counsel to a number of such entities. Among others, they represent a large distributor of raw products throughout the country and a national franchisor. They have also represented a number of businesses and business owners in buying, selling and merging their businesses in transactions that involved both transfers of assets and ownership interests. They have handled a number of transactions that concern equity investments in businesses and real estate ventures and do a significant amount of corporate planning, particularly with respect to family and closely held businesses.
