Trademark and Copyright
The Firm has extensive experience in trademark and trade dress litigation, both prosecuting and defending federal and state infringement and dilution actions and claims for injunctive relief. For example, Philip M. Andrews recently represented an automobile manufacturer in federal infringement litigation arising from the defendants' unauthorized use of the manufacturer's mark on clothing and other apparel.
Mr. Andrews has also lectured on the interplay among parody, the First Amendment, and trademark dilution.
Cynthia A. Berman, another principal in the Firm, routinely assists clients with copyright and trademark registration. Mr. Andrews handles copyright disputes.
