Brian Goodman Addresses NAIC Catastrophe Response Working Group
On Tuesday, November 18, 2014, firm principal Brian Goodman addressed the National Association of Insurance Commissioners Catastrophe Response Working Group at the NAIC fall meeting in Washington, DC regarding issues in catastrophe response from the perspective of the public insurance adjuster. Brian serves as outside General Counsel to the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (www.napia.com), and in the presentation he was joined by Ronald J. Papa, a past President of NAPIA and a principal of NFA in Buffalo, New York. Brian remains active on behalf of NAPIA at NAIC, and was very involved in the development and passage of the Model Act for Public Insurance Adjusters (Model number 228) in 2005. He works closely at NAIC with NAPIA’s NAIC liaison Gregory V. Serio, former Superintendent of Insurance for the State of New York.
