David J. Shuster

Mr. Shuster is the Managing Principal of the Firm. He is a trial lawyer who concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, construction claims, professional liability claims, and litigation on behalf of plaintiffs involving medical malpractice and other serious personal injuries. He tries cases in both federal and Maryland state courts, and represents clients in appeals, mediations, and arbitrations.

Mr. Shuster was selected to the Maryland Super Lawyers in 2009 (as a "Rising Star"), 2010, 2011, and 2012. He was invited to serve as an instructor in the civil litigation program of the Court of Appeals' Professionalism Course for New Admittees of the Maryland Bar.

In law school, he was a contributing author and an associate casenote editor of the law review. In addition to his professional activities, Mr. Shuster has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he taught appellate advocacy and legal analysis, research, and writing courses. He is an associate member of the Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland, and contributes legal articles for that organization's monthly publication.

Mr. Shuster is a member and a former co-chair of the Executive Committee for the Lawyers' Campaign of the CollegeBound Foundation – a philanthropic organization that assists Baltimore City high school students desiring to attend college. He has served on various boards in the Baltimore community. He also enjoys membership in, and was a past president of, The Wranglers, one of Maryland's historic law clubs.
