Time Element Losses
Time element coverage, which includes business interruption and extra expense coverage, is an integral part of first party insurance. Time element claims are generally straight forward, but disputes can arise when there is a delay between the time that damage interrupts a policyholder’s business and the time that a resulting revenue loss is sustained.
