Kramon & Graham Principal Lee Ogburn Receives Leadership in Law Award

Kramon & Graham is pleased to announce that Lee Ogburn, chair of the firm’s insurance coverage practice, has been honored with a 2015 Leadership in Law award by The Daily Record.

The Leadership in Law award honors those Maryland legal professionals — lawyers and judges — whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities deserves particular recognition. Recipients are selected for their professional accomplishments, commitment to community service and mentoring activities.

Lee is a nationally regarded authority in insurance coverage issues involving general liability and property insurance. Insurers rely upon his knowledge of the industry, effective negotiation skills, and persuasive advocacy.

Throughout his career, Lee has been an advocate of education and social initiatives. For years, he co-chaired the Equal Justice Council’s Law Firm Campaign, and in 2013 received the Champion of Justice Award for his leadership in organizing fundraising and promoting equal access to justice. Earlier this year, Lee succeeded firm founder Andy Graham to serve as EJC’s co-chair.

Lee also served as a member of the board of the Maryland Public Justice Center and now serves on PJC’s Advisory Council, an advisory board that provides advice regarding litigation considered by the Center.

Lee serves as Chair of the Board of the Baltimore School for the Arts, which is recognized as one of the top five public performing arts highs schools in the United States. Lee has also served as Vice President of the Board and chair of the Audit Committee of The Bryn Mawr School.
