Summer Associates

We recruit summer associates who are driven to contribute and want to be challenged.

Contributing your skills to high-profile cases alongside accomplished lawyers is just one aspect that sets Kramon & Graham's Summer Associate Program apart. Our firm culture is built on excellence, teamwork, collegiality, and respect. As a summer associate here, you will engage in highly collaborative team settings, working on sophisticated national and local litigation, real estate, and transactional matters.

Because of the diverse range of cases and matters we handle, and because of the complexity and time-sensitivity of our work, Kramon & Graham summer associates will be challenged to improve their skills and learn new ones. You will benefit from exposure to early case evaluation, trial strategy, and contract negotiation. You will attend hearings, depositions, settlement conferences, real estate closings, and client meetings.

We hire summer associates with the expectation that the individuals selected are capable of becoming successful lawyers at the firm. We look for mature summer associate candidates with top academic credentials, journal participation, and impressive undergraduate credentials. We seek students with excellent writing skills, initiative, personal presence, and a strong work ethic. While we have a national profile, we are Baltimore-based. Our ideal candidate is seriously considering Maryland as the preferred place to live and develop professionally.

Our summer program is a key component of our hiring and recruitment effort. The program provides an opportunity for learning and evaluation for both the summer associate and the firm. For students, you will gain first-hand exposure to our lawyers, our culture, and our clients. For the firm, it provides an opportunity to assess the skills of a prospective associate.

The application deadline for our 2026 Summer Associate Program has passed. We will begin accepting applications for the 2027 Summer Associate Program in June 2026. Please refer back to this page for updates.
