Natalie McSherry Receives 2018 Leadership in Law Lifetime Achievement Award
McSherry recognized for professional accomplishments, community leadership, and bar involvement

Kramon & Graham, a leading law firm providing litigation, real estate, and transactional services, announced today that principal M. Natalie McSherry has been selected by the Maryland Daily Record as a recipient of the 2018 Leadership in Law Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Leadership in Law award honors those Maryland legal professionals whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities deserves particular recognition. Recipients are selected for their professional accomplishments, commitment to community service, and mentoring activities.

Nationally known, and with more than 30 years of experience in commercial litigation, health care law, and alternative dispute resolution, Ms. McSherry is recognized as one of the State's preeminent trial lawyers. For her competence, professionalism, civility, and commitment to the community and public service, she has received numerous awards, including the Maryland Volunteer Legal Services Winnie Borden Pro Bono Leadership Award and the Maryland Legal Services Corporation Arthur W. Machen Award.

"Natalie is admired by her clients and widely respected by the bench and bar alike," said Kramon & Graham Chairman Phil Andrews. "Through her example and professionalism, Natalie inspires us to be better lawyers. She represents the very best of our community and our profession. It is most fitting that she is honored with the Leadership in Law Lifetime Achievement Award."

Ms. McSherry currently serves on the boards of directors of the Baltimore Courthouse and Law Museum Foundation, Maryland Bar Foundation, My Sister's Place, Saint Ignatius Loyola Academy, and the Woodsboro Bank, where she is Vice-Chair of the Board.

She is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, American Health Lawyers Association, Maryland Society for Healthcare Risk Management, Maryland State Bar Association, Bar Association of Baltimore City, and the American Bar Association, among other industry organizations.

Ms. McSherry graduated from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law (J.D., 1974) and Manhattanville College (B.A., 1971).

While Ms. McSherry is the first member of the firm to receive the Lifetime Achievement honor, other firm members have been selected for the Daily Record's annual Leadership in Law Award, including firm founder Andrew Jay Graham, procurement lawyer Phil Andrews, insurance coverage principal Lee Ogburn, and real estate principal Jeff Scherr.
