Kramon & Graham’s Lydia E. Lawless and Ezra S. Gollogly Named Co-Managing Principals of the Firm Beginning July 1, 2026
Kramon & Graham, P.A., one of Maryland's most respected litigation and business law firms, is pleased to announce that Lydia E. Lawless and Ezra S. Gollogly will lead the Firm as Co-Managing Principals effective July 1, 2026.
Kramon & Graham is excited to announce that Lydia E. Lawless and Ezra S. Gollogly will become Co-Managing Principals on July 1, 2026, succeeding David J. Shuster who served as Managing Principal since 2013 and will remain President and Chairman of the firm. This transition marks both a celebration of David's leadership and service and an enthusiastic embrace of the Firm's next generation of leadership. “Lydia and Ezra are natural leaders. Their election reflects the Firm's confidence in their vision and commitment to the Firm's continued excellence,” said David Shuster.
“When we started the Firm in 1975, all Jim Kramon, our Firm's first Managing Principal, had to do was manage me and one support staff member. Now, with offices in three locations — including a growing and very active office in Rockville — we have more than 40 attorneys and an equal number of other employees who expect and deserve the best possible management of the Firm. It just makes sense for two principals to do the job of managing the operation,” said Andrew Jay Graham, Co-Founder and Principal of Kramon & Graham.
“Both Ezra and Lydia are excellent lawyers with large, active practices, but each still has the necessary energy and good judgment to also excel at the job of Managing Principal. They will follow in the footsteps of the excellent managing members who preceded them — Jim Kramon, Lee Ogburn, Phil Andrews, and of course our present Managing Principal Dave Shuster. I am fully confident that they will guide the Firm to continued success in the days ahead.”
“Ezra and Lydia will do a terrific job leading the Firm into the future. Their thoughtfulness and practicality are always evident, and they share an unwavering commitment to maintaining K&G's collegiality. Lydia's infectious enthusiasm and love of the practice of law and Ezra's natural ability to understand and relate to people in a way that inspires trust and respect make them perfect candidates for the job of managing this Firm” said Philip M. Andrews, Principal and former Managing Principal/Chairman of Kramon & Graham.
“Lydia and Ezra are both highly respected practitioners and have proven leadership skills. Before joining our Firm, Lydia successfully led the Office of Bar Counsel. Ezra has been instrumental in growing and managing our Firm's nationwide insurance coverage practice. The entire K&G team truly owes Lydia and Ezra a debt of gratitude for taking on this responsibility.”
