Veronica offers clients 25 years of real estate industry sector experience, spanning both transactional and litigation matters. On the transactional side, her real property residential and commercial projects range from development through closing and construction. She is adept in review, drafting, and negotiation of real estate purchase and sale contracts, including AIA form contracts, and leases for residential and commercial spaces. Her municipal credentials are strong, with extensive representation of planning boards and zoning boards of appeal.
She is a skilled litigator with decades of experience in all facets of civil litigation, including 38 reported decisions. Her litigation and appellate portfolio includes construction contract and defect claims and medical malpractice defense; she is a registered nurse. On behalf of regional insurance carriers, she has led the successful defense of more than 100 title claims.
