Emily R. Greene

Emily Greene represents entities and individuals in disputes and litigation at all levels of federal and state courts. A skillful litigator, Emily consistently obtains favorable outcomes and settlements.

Her varied litigation experience includes shareholder and partnership disputes, personal injury matters, premises-liability cases, pre- and post-judgment collections matters, large property-loss claims, real estate disputes, and contract claims in federal and state court. She also has experience defending police officers in federal and state lawsuits for alleged civil rights violations. Emily has also handled both state and federal appeals in both criminal and civil matters.

She also represents entities in their pursuit of Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects and other government contracts. In addition to advising and counseling clients, Emily has assisted in the defense of an entity in a bid protest arising out of a public procurement contract award.

Current Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Maryland State Bar Association, Emily is actively engaged in community and professional service. She serves on the Board of Directors of both Disability Rights Maryland and Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland, volunteers regularly with local civic initiatives, and mentors other lawyers through bar association programs. She is also a member of several professional and nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting access to justice, ethical leadership, and civic engagement. Through these roles, Emily brings the same dedication and insight to the community that she does to her legal practice.

Before joining the firm, Emily served as a law clerk for Justice Clayton Greene, Jr., of the Supreme Court of Maryland.

A summa cum laude graduate from the University of Baltimore School of Law, Emily served as the Associate Comments Editor of The University of Baltimore Law Review. She was a summer associate at the firm before graduating.
